An alum of the United States Naval Academy. He has a law degree from the American Educational Institute, and is certified in Contract Law through Harvard Law School.
He is a former Florida Supreme Court certified Mediator and Florida Supreme Court eligible Arbitrator specializing in maritime/admiralty law and contract law. He has served as the International Claims Manager for the Marine Office of America Corp., and Maritime Claims Manager for Carnival Cruise Lines. He specializes in contract review, interpretation, negotiation, and drafting of agreements/contracts to include but not limited to; construction, employment, independent contractor, investor, partnership, sub-contractor, and private placement.
Mr. Colson is a master facilitator, negotiator and former member of the Society of Claims Law Associates, former member of The Florida Mediation Group, Miami Maritime Arbitration Association, and former arbitrator with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
An alum of the United States Naval Academy. He has a Masters’ degree in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School at Monterey.
He is a former combat Navy Officer and has served as a Flight Instructor, Air Operations Officer, Aviation Safety Officer, and Project Manager for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command. He has also served as a data analyst and project manager for several Federal contractors. He specializes in aviation risk assessment, project management, Federal contract/vendor matters, government compliance and documentation, and general management & consulting.
Mr. Sawyer is a subject matter expert in aviation matters with considerable intergovernmental relations relating to aviation projects, and a member of the Association of Naval Aviators and the National Naval Officers Association
An alum of Florida State University. He has a Masters’ degree in Sports Administration with Community and Economic Development Certifications from Florida International University and University of South Florida.
He is the former Economic Development Coordinator for the City of Pompano Beach, Florida, former Executive Director of the Pompano Beach Economic Development Council (PBEDC), a member of the Florida Economic Development Council (FEDC) and Southern Economic Development Council (SEDC). He also served as Minority Business Coordinator for the National Football League (South Florida Super Bowl XXXIII Host Committee).
Mr. Jones provides expertise in the area of Economic Development and Redevelopment, public/private partnerships, evaluating the potential of value-added revenue generating opportunities, grant writing, and strategic planning.
